I could not be more pleased with our Hansel and Gretel performances, and I really enjoyed visiting with so many of you on Monday at our
combined Cast Parties/Registration Day. A few pieces of important information:
NO AUDITIONS will be held this evening, June 10th, at The Dance Place. They will be rescheduled as needed.
RECITAL PHOTOS taken by Anthony Hawkesworth are available at hawkesworth.smugmug.com.
Click on Dance in main menu and go to Hansel and Gretel. You can purchase downloads or prints of photos starting at 40 cents per picture.

Dear Dance Place families,
To say we miss you is an under-statement! We think of y'all constantly and pray this finds you well and even flourishing within the limits of our present situation.
We are sad to confirm that there will be no classes or rehearsals at The Dance Place through the end of April. You will not be charged tuition for April; if you have paid ahead you will be refunded.
We would love to see you in May, but like everyone else, have no idea what will happen next. In the meantime, we will try to keep the dancers going with videos of classwork and recital choreography, and some zoom classes, too! A whole new adventure for us all!

Dear Dance Families,
The Dance Place will not hold regular classes while the Kershaw County schools are closed.
In addition, there will be no rehearsals until further notice.
We are sad and disappointed and will miss each one of you. We pray for the continued health of all our dance families.
Keep practicing at home and we will be in touch with class makeup plans and other information. We look forward to returning to the studio as soon as it is safe for us to resume dancing!

Agility Class for Boys (ages 6-9) starts Thursday, November 7 from 7:00-7:30. The class will be taught by Miss Ari and will emphasize injury prevention, agility, strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and body awareness. Cost is $30 a month. Come join us!

The Dance Place does this production as a fundraiser for the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County, and tickets are on sale at the Fine Arts Center. Last year's performance sold out before the day of the show, which is why we have been asked to do two performances this year. We urge you to get your tickets early, while they are still available!

Dance pictures will be made March 23 & 24. You should have received an envelope with your dancer's specific picture time.

We are off to a wonderful start of our dance year!
Our October Parents' Observation will take place October 24-27, during regular class time.
We'd love for your dancers ages 3-10 to join our Performance Teams. These teams will meet for 6 weeks and begin Sunday, October 23. 3-6 year olds will practice from 2:00-2:45, and 7-10 year olds will practice from 2:45-3:30.
They are preparing for our Friday, December 16, Nutcracker Fundraiser for the Fine Arts Center. The one-time fee for these performance teams is $35. Please let Stephanie know caldwellstephanie96@gmail.com if your dancer(s) will join us on Sunday, October 23.
